I hit around ten Jazz Fests in the '80s and '90s and Wing Hodasz was an amazing presence at the Gospel Tent (which of course is an amazing experience to begin with). Always looked forward to seeing him every year and even talked with him a time or two. And one year when visiting the Mississippi Valley Blues Festival in Davenport, IA, I'll be damned if I didn't see Wing out in the crowd there! What a spirit he was. Thank you for sharing the link to the article. RIP to Wing and cheers to you.Kerryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02795853281350017806noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455383937129728039.post-54648126501763212652009-05-19T09:05:00.000-05:002009-05-19T09:05:00.000-05:00Jazz Fest is like meeting an old friend who always...Jazz Fest is like meeting an old friend who always feels familiar and doesn't take long to pick up where we left off years ago....CJ Cardhttp://web.mac.com/cardcj/iWeb/cj_card_blog/INDEX/INDEX.htmlnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1455383937129728039.post-31009376069601464382009-05-13T09:24:00.000-05:002009-05-13T09:24:00.000-05:00I'm cryin' here - tears of laughter that is.
