Today we leave for Scotland and it's an unprecedented day in the UK because Chip is signing me on as a second driver on the rental car. Whether he'll let me drive is an entirely different thing. He is rightly concerned that my adult attention deficit is further exacerbated by beautiful scenery and farmhouses--"....so. hard. not .to.look. while driving, must concentrate...." It is likely I will at the very least, run over somebody's foot. Pray for the Scottish people.
Hopefully, no one hurt and a post of beautiful pictures of Edinburgh, Scotland come Monday.

ReplyDeleteTo sum up - I did halfheartedly offer you the wheel a couple of times, and you said no. And you offered to drive a couple of times, much more sincerely than I offered, and I said no.
Still, in the end, did we get the balance of driving about right?
